The Washington Room

President Washington’s stature in our country and his patriotic legacy made it easy to name this spacious colonial room in his honor. The largest guestroom in the inn, the Washington Room is the original master bedroom of the early farmhouse, with a plush king-size bed, cedar closet, early American desk, dresser and a wood-burning fireplace that may be enjoyed seasonally.

This stately room is on the second floor of the inn and looks east towards the rolling front lawn and south toward the side of the house and Willow Lake. The Washington Room’s classic colonial colors of brick red, navy blue, and ivory draw from the early American history of the Charlottesville area.

This room has a large, private bath with a tub-shower that is situated just two steps outside the bedroom. The king bed can be converted into twin beds in the Washington Room upon request.
