Annual Winter Fine Dining/Wine Tasting at Veritas

The Inn at Monticello, The Inn at Sugar Hollow Farm, The Dinsmore House, and Veritas Vineyards and Winery have once again put together a great weekend on Friday and Saturday, February 29th and March 1st 2008. The fun starts on Friday evening with light hors d'oeuvres and a variety of local fine wine at the Inn, in front of the fire. On Saturday morning after a full country breakfast we will gather at Veritas for a VIP tasting and tour until early afternoon. The rest of the day can be spent enjoying and exploring the wonderful historic sites, shopping, etc of the Charlottesville area. Saturday night includes an exciting wine tasting dinner at Veritas Vineyards and Winery with a four course dinner, specially prepared for you by Veritas' own Chef, featuring Seared Beef Tenderloin. Each course is accompanied by a specially selected Veritas wine, plus music and dancing. Our weekend will conclude after a full country breakfast Sunday morning. The Winter Wine Weekend Package is all-inclusive and includes two nights at The Inn at Monticello, Friday evening hors d'oeuvres, transportation to and from Saturday evening & dinner, a full country breakfast each morning, wine tasting/tour, dinner, gratuities and all taxes. All Inclusive price is $695.00 per couple These weekends book quickly, and are a wonderful way to "leap" into spring!!

From the moment we arrived until we sadly had to return home, everything far exceeded our expectations! Upon arrival we discovered our room to be beautiful, our hosts extremely welcoming and a lovely wine tasting reception kicked off our weekend.
