The Inn at Monticello is the perfect place for your Virginia vacation.
In the spring, summer, and fall, our front porch is a popular place for talking with other guests or watching the birds. In the winter, the living room fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere for sipping wine or drinking tea. We have many interesting books and magazines about Charlottesville, which guests are free to read.
There are plenty of outdoor places for guests to explore. We are situated on five picturesque acres, with a beautiful creek and magnificent trees and gardens. Next door is Willow Lake, where guests may cast a line. Across Scottsville Road from our property are safe, well-maintained trails which allow guests to easily walk to Monticello, Michie Tavern, or Carter Mountain Orchard. We are located within 30 minutes of the spectacular Blue Ridge Parkway, Skyline Drive, and the Appalachian Trail.
Our rooms feature plush linens, towels, and robes. In the colder months, we place down comforters on the beds. We proudly feature comfy Downlite pillows on our beds. Throughout the year, we offer premium soaps and lotions from Gilchrist & Soames and Greenwich Bay Traders in our bathrooms. We serve our own special blend of coffee at breakfast and fine Virginia wines and other beverages in the afternoon, in the living room or on the porch. In the evening, we usually put out freshly baked cookies or sweets.
The Inn at Monticello also offers wireless Internet connections and CD players in our guest rooms.
For dog and cat lovers, our Norwich Terrier dog, Rudy, and our Birman cat, Daisy, enjoy being petted and hugged by our guests.
If you would like to enjoy the skilled hands of a licensed masseuse during your stay, we can recommend a reputable therapist.
We will do everything we can to make your Virginia bed and breakfast experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
